Void Series

Using his own photography, a hand-painted field of black has obliterated a single element: a peak, a ridgeline, a monument of stone.  What remains is absence made physical.  The void becomes a presence of its own: a silhouette of memory, a shape the mind insists on completing.  It forces one to confront how we see – and what we take for granted.
